The music that I create is based, completely, on real experiences, real feelings and thoughts, or real experiences of others. It is authentic whether accepted or not. With my new single, “Motivation”, I have based this song on personal experience and thoughts. Pondering on something to write about, one night, a very profound thought filled my vision: there have been some amazing women that have helped me along the way. They have inspired me in more ways than one.
These wonderful women have been essential in my progress while venturing on this tedious road to success. Their sweet and kind spirits, embracing attitudes, and helpful skills have inspired me to rise to the occasion with no excuses. Why should I have an excuse? These ladies push through daily challenges presented by everyone from society to even familial obstructions, yet, they persevere. This is the essence of the lyrics in which I sing “I see the hard work and sacrifices, trying times, yet they kept on fighting, you really are an inspiration, and you’re my number one motivation.”
It is high time for our women, who have also contributed to our world’s progress, our families’ structure, our societal values, to be acknowledged. They have been by our sides, and personally, they give me a purpose. These special women give me a purpose to encourage them as they motivate me to be the best man that I can be. They are valuable, and not forgotten, and I wanted to express this thoroughly. I feel it is my duty to do so.
So, with my music, and this song, in particular, I remember the women that I write about. I acknowledge the pain and the joy of the women I sing about. I emphasize and promote the message of the women that inspire my creativity. I also give my heart, love and blessings to the women that have worked with me to get me to this point. Not only myself, but every person that knows you’ve been our backbones and shining stars, we thank you for motivating us to be all that we can be. We value you; we love you.
