EEM Surpasses 2 Million Bible Deliveries in Record-Breaking 2025 Distribution
FORT WORTH, Texas, December 16, 2025 — On December 10, 2025 Bible distribution ministry EEM exceeded its 2024 delivery total of 2,002,718 Bibles and biblical books. With two weeks still remaining in the year, it places the organization on track to finish 2025 with the highest Scripture distribution figures in its history.
As of this week, EEM reports 2,009,610 Bibles delivered across Eastern Europe and beyond, with additional deliveries already scheduled before year’s end.
EEM President Bob Burckle called the milestone “a powerful reminder that people across our region continue to hunger for God’s Word.”
“Every single shipment represents a church, family or individual receiving Scripture, often for the first time in their heart language,” Burckle said. “To surpass two million again, and to do so before the year is even finished, is something only God could orchestrate.”
EEM’s Vice President Dirk Smith emphasized that the demand has not slowed, especially in nations experiencing war, economic upheaval or restricted access to Christian resources.
“When society is unstable, people search for truth,” Smith said. “We are seeing unprecedented openness to the Gospel, and that’s why these numbers matter—not because they’re big, but because they represent real lives being reached.”
As the ministry is now compiling its annual Impact Report for 2025, which will detail the full scope of its Bible distribution, language expansion, ministry partnerships and regional outreach, a reflection on last year’s report is key. The 2024 Impact Report details:
- 36 nations served
- 32 languages
- 1,693 ministry partners
EEM’s expanding distribution included significant Scripture engagement in Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian, Polish, Hungarian and other languages, reflecting the linguistic diversity of the regions it serves.
Historic growth fueled by partnerships
Smith credited the surge in distribution to the ministry’s deepening relationships with churches, educators and humanitarian organizations—many of whom are working in areas facing profound social and political instability.
“We don’t push Bibles into communities—they request them,” Smith explained. “Our partners tell us where the need is greatest, and we do everything in our power to respond.”
Burckle added that this year’s historic total is only one piece of a much larger story.
“Our prayer is that every Bible placed leads to long-term discipleship,” he said. “We want people to encounter Jesus—not just receive a book, but to engage and be transformed by the truth inside of it.”
A long legacy of Scripture distribution
EEM has distributed millions of Bibles free of charge since its founding, but the organization believes the current moment represents a uniquely urgent season for Scripture engagement.
“Eastern Europe is at a crossroads,” Burckle said. “The need for hope, clarity and the Gospel is greater than ever. We’re humbled to play even a small role in that mission.”
The ministry expects to release its full 2025 Impact Report early next year, with leadership expressing gratitude that the final tally of Bible distribution will exceed any previous year on record.
“Over four million Bibles delivered in these last two years… It’s all God.”
