FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Kelly Green, manager of the band and music ministry Behold the Beloved, has released her debut book with the poignant All That Remains: Finding Wholeness Through the Wreckage. The book is available now from Barnes & Noble, Amazon or at the band’s merch table.
All That Remains is a roadmap tenderly offered from Kelly’s own road through trauma healing, guided by the loving hand of God.
“For a long time, I carried the weight of trauma, chronic illness, infertility, and the ache of unanswered prayers in silence,” Kelly admits. “I thought healing would come when the circumstances changed, when the diagnosis was resolved, the pain subsided, or the prayers were finally answered. But instead, healing came in layers. It showed up in the in-between—in quiet, unglamorous moments of surrender, in conversations that cracked something open, and in learning how to hope again even when the outcome didn’t change.”
That healing would plant the first seeds of the idea of writing something years ago. For a while, Kelly held back, not feeling ready to face the enormity of what she’d walked through. During this time, she continued sowing in the the ministry of Behold the Beloved, a band fronted by her husband Sean Green.
Finally, she was ready to take the steps into full trust and wholeness that were necessary for the book’s creation.
She says, “I started writing because I needed to make sense of what I had lived through, to name the wreckage I had carried for so long. But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just writing for myself. I was writing for the ones still in it. The ones who are tired of pretending they’re okay. The ones who love Jesus but still feel the weight of what hasn’t healed. The ones who wonder if they’re the only ones trying to hold on when life hasn’t turned out the way they hoped.”
“All That Remains: Finding Wholeness Through the Wreckage was born from that tension in the sacred middle space where grief and grace exist side by side,” the author continues. “It’s not a book of tidy answers. It’s a companion for the wilderness, a hand on the shoulder saying, ‘you’re not alone here.’”
In many ways, the book was a natural outgrowth of ministry Kelly was already leading. Chart-topping Christian rock band Behold the Beloved is accompanied by the women’s ministry My Beloved, which Kelly leads. As manager of Behold the Beloved, she also describes the behind-the-scenes work of the band as “a front row seat to where God moves most.” Sitting in that front row seat has changed Kelly forever.
“My time with Behold the Beloved has quietly transformed my faith in ways I didn’t expect. It expanded my empathy, reshaped how I see people, and reminded me that God moves just as powerfully in the quiet, ordinary spaces as He does in the big, miraculous ones. It’s taught me to pay attention, to listen more, to lead with presence instead of pressure. Finally, it reminded me that I don’t need a platform to make an impact, I just need to be available,” Kelly explains.
Her debut book is a way of doing exactly that: making herself available to those in the messy middle. Sending her words where she herself can’t go. Reaching those who may have never heard anyone talk about the topics Kelly Green tackles with authenticity and grace.
The book released in conjunction with a few of the band’s major summer appearances. This is what readers have been saying about it since:
“Kelly Green reminds anyone who may find themselves in the “in-between” that God meets us right where we are, even in the broken places.”
“Such an incredible book of encouragement and hope! The personal stories were like reading my own thoughts and feelings I’ve had in my own life so many times.”
“People that are going through things can relate to this. It is so helpful to others.”
In his own endorsement of the book, Behold the Beloved frontman Sean Green said, “This book is for anyone going through or has gone through a struggle of any sort and being encouraged that they are seen and come our stronger than ever. To lean on God’s strength and know He is working whether we see it or not even in the darkest times in our life.”
Readers are invited to share their own reviews on Amazon or Goodreads after completing it. They can also follow Kelly on Substack for more of her musings on life, heartache, healing, and faith.
“So many of us have been taught to hide our hurt until it’s resolved, to wait until we’re ‘on the other side’ before we speak. But healing doesn’t always come in clean, clear moments,” Kelly earnestly concludes. “Sometimes it comes in the quiet endurance of still showing up. I want women to know that their story doesn’t have to be finished to be valuable. That God isn’t waiting for them to be all put together. He’s already in the middle of it with them. Even in the places that feel like ruins, there’s something special taking shape. There is still beauty in what remains.”
