ME IN MOTION “EVERYTHING IS NOTHING” RED TOUR BLOG DAY 3:
What Day Is It Again?
Seth Mosley
Hey Guys.
It’s Seth again here in Victoria, TX…writing you from sidestage at the Riverside Multiplex as Pillar is finishing up their set. We’re super thrilled to be back on the road with those guys again, as we got to do the Confessions Tour with them last year, and count them as great friends and an awesome band.
Just wanted to take a moment to stop and ask somebody out there, “What day is it again?” There comes a point on tour, some tours earlier on than others, where everyone on the road starts to ask this question, along with others like, “what city is this?” or even, “What state is this?” For me, that time came today on tour date 3 on the Nothing and Everything Tour, when I woke up at the Hampton Inn today at 4 pm, hearing our road manager Josh say, “Gotta go, soundcheck’s in a half hour.” I bet my head-confusion is a culmination of driving thru the night, sleeping at the hotel during the daytime, and eating spicy gas station burritos at 6 am, which have the power to erase one’s memory as easily as a memory is made. 🙂
But what a great time we are having out here. Three solid shows in a row, makes a great start to this tour, and I’m reminded, even as we face the craziness and confusion of the road, that our God is a God of consistency in our crazy, confused world.
Let Hebrews 13:8 remind us today that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” So wherever you are at in life, whether your days are just a blur, and you find yourself waking up some days not even knowing where your head is, or your peace lies, let Jesus be that peace, in knowing that we have a faithful friend, father and refuge in Him, no matter what day it is!
