This was one of my favorite meals when I was growing up. It’s my mom’s recipe, and the sauce it makes is creamy and fabulous. Enjoy! – JM Farro
MARIE’S BEEF STROGANOFF
1 package of Egg Noodles
1 pound Round or Chuck Steak, trimmed and cubed
½ cup sliced Onion
2 tablespoons Oil, Butter, or Margarine
½ cup (4 ozs.) Sour Cream
½ cup Water
1 can Golden Mushroom Soup
In skillet, brown meat. Cook onion in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until tender. Stir now and then. Serve over noodles.
