Now Available: ‘The Unfair Advantage’ by Pastor Aaron Burke of Radiant Church
Timely Release Offers Hope, Renewed Strength and a New Perspective for Those Battling Life’s Unfair Events
Aaron Burke (DMin, MBA) is the lead pastor of Radiant Church, which he and his wife, Katie, started in 2013 after selling everything and moving in faith to a new city. Radiant Church now has eight campuses throughout the Tampa Bay community. Burke’s passions are building the local church and helping Christians live into their God-given potential. In addition to pastoring at Radiant, Burke regularly speaks at churches and conferences across America. He also works heavily with planting churches and developing leaders in South Asia (Sri Lanka and India). His work with equipping leaders includes his Made for More leadership podcast and partnering with the Association of Related Churches (ARC) and the Church Multiplication Network (CMN) to train church planters. Burke and his wife have been married since 2010 and have five beautiful children. He loves to travel, spend time with his family and do CrossFit.
In “The Unfair Advantage,” Burke takes a closer look at the seven unfair seasons Joseph endures in the book of Genesis and reveals how Joseph’s struggles are not unlike the battles readers face today.
Combining biblical truths with Burke’s insights from his years of walking with people through their biggest challenges, this book offers a message of hope and renewed strength for anyone who has battled seasons of feeling discouraged, rejected, undervalued, tempted, unfairly punished, deprived or forgotten. The surprising reality revealed by the story of Joseph is that unfair moments and seasons of difficulty – if handled wisely – can actually be used by God for our advantage.
Readers will be comforted and inspired as they encounter in a new way the dramatic story of Joseph’s trials and ultimate triumph. Along the way, they’ll learn how to transform adversity into advantage, endure even the most challenging moments through courage and hope rooted in faith, and become aware of God’s presence, peace and promise in the midst of hardship.
